Location : Various sites in Duncan and Chemainus

Position Status : Part-Time, Possibility of Full-Time

Wage Range : $20.50 / hr - $21.53 / hr

Shifts : Various days, evenings, and overnight shifts

Reports to : Site Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide access control ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas by verifying credentials.
• Conduct foots patrols to maintain visibility and cover all areas of the property.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches; take appropriate action and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities in detailed written reports using Tracktik.
• Ensure security equipment such as radios, phones, access control systems are functioning, reporting any malfunctions.
