Team Manager / Coach

Toronto Near Airport

Full-Time 12 hour rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities

Coaching and Mentoring

Guide and support a team of highly skilled individuals through coaching sessions and one-on-one mentorship to enhance their performance and career growth.

Empowerment

Create a culture of empowerment where team members are encouraged to take initiative, make decisions, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Barrier Removal

Identify and eliminate barriers that hinder team productivity or morale, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

Collaboration

Foster a collaborative environment within the team and across departments to achieve common goals and drive continuous improvement.

Operational Support

Ensure team is up to date with certifications and licenses.

Ensure enough coverage and schedules are covered.

Union Environment

Utilize your experience in a unionized environment to navigate challenges effectively while maintaining positive relationships and upholding company policies.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Experience building and leading teams is a must (Coach, Manager, Team Lead, Supervisor)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional client service skills and client first mentality.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour rotational shifts as needed to support team operations.
  • This is not an industry specific role, we are looking for exceptional team builders and coaches. This role will manage a team of very skilled professionals therefore the successful candidate is not expected to have these skills to be successful in this role*
