Our client, Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH), is a -bed community hospital with a proud history extending back over a century serving more than 80, local residents and 35, seasonal visitors.
It is one of the largest employers in the region, with more than staff members, credentialed physicians, and close to volunteers.
Together, the team provides compassionate, high quality patient care to more than 45, emergency patients and 6, inpatients annually.
RMH offers a wide variety of acute and continuing care services, including a 24 / 7 emergency department, obstetrics, orthopedics and ophthalmology, outpatient dialysis, a Schedule 1 mental health program, restorative seniors care, rehabilitation and palliative care, a progressive health promotion program for chronic disease management and a full range of diagnostic imaging including MRI.
Committed to best practices and integrated services, RMH delivers comprehensive level 1B OB services focused on low-risk, healthy pregnancies and newborns.
There are to deliveries per year at the unit which has six large, fully equipped private birthing suites.
RMH is seeking two Obstetrician / Gynecologists to join their dedicated group of Maternal Child Health practitioners. The team consists of one Obstetrician / Gynecologist, six Family Medicine Obstetric Practitioners, four midwives, and several regular locum Obstetrician / Gynecologists to assist the team with call to achieve work life balance.
Candidates must be certified, or eligible for certification, by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics / Gynecology and hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
CPSO pathway licensure is easily available for US Board Certified Physicians with new regulations implemented in that have created a straight forward licensure process without the requirement for supervision.
