Construction Laborer

We are looking for Construction Labourers for a long term position with lots of Overtime available

First projects are currently located at Buntzen as well as Annacis Island.

Future sites can be located across the lower mainland.

Shifts will be 10-12 hours and will be physically demanding.

You will be assisting with the recoating of large exterior pipes.

You will be removing the existing coating, cleaning up that old coating with shovels, brooms, and industrial vacuums, and applying the new coating.

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of construction labour experience
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to get to site (Vehicle) - site is not transit accessible
• Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively
• Strong communication skills

Nice to Have Experience :

• Sandblasting experience
• Experience operating a Telehandler
• Safety Tickets

Shift :

• Monday - Friday, often working Saturdays as well
• Working 10-12 hour days
• 6 : 30am start time on most sites
• Lots of OT - OT after 8 hours a day and after 40 hours a week

Work Environment :

• Current projects are located at Buntzen Lake as well as Annacis Island
• Projects will be physical and dirty

Pay Rate :

$25 / hr - $30 / hr

PPE Required :

• Steel Toe Work Boots
• Hard Hat
• High-Vis Vest
