Position Overview :

To provide Configuration and Data Management support to Aerospace programs / projects, with emphasis on the update and maintenance of the aircraft technical record.

To provide administrative and technical support to Aerospace Engineering. To carry out assigned projects.

What You Will Do :

• Review of new and revised drawings and drawing supplements (MEOs)
• Review and release of engineering deliverables (CDRLs and SRQs).
• Update and maintenance of PDMPlus
• Support engineering activities by assigning unique identifiers for engineering documentation (Reports, TMs, PCNs, MEOs, SINs etc)
• Monitoring incorporation of modification leaflets into affected drawings.
• Support the CP140 Programs through review and processing of Requests for Engineering Services Non-Standard Repairs and Requests for Deviations and Waivers
• Coordinating the preparation and release of Publication Change Notices.
• Providing assistance to Engineering and Production personnel.
• Researching and assembling material to write a consolidated report of TLIR and periodic reports
• Participating in Review Meetings as applicable.
• Preparing outgoing messages, facsimile, letters, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of in-house Standard Plant Procedures (SPPs), Administrative Directives (ADs), reports, Directives, memorandums, etc.
• Carry out SPP mandated audits of Engineering drawings and documentation.
• Liaise with customers concerning project details.
• Respond to customer inquiries, carrying out research as required.
• Generate and deliver Technical Data Action Notices (TDANs) to the customer
• Carry out other duties / projects as assigned by the Manager, CM / DM.

What You Will Bring :

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• Hands on experience in a related technical field, with an additional one year experience in configuration management preferred
• One year experience in data management
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Detailed knowledge of configuration control and drawing standards preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Good attention to detail
• Self motivated and efficient
• Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
