About the Role
As the Director of Product Marketing, you'll help drive the success of our client's platform, developing and executing strategic product marketing plans.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role is tailor-made for dynamic individuals who thrive in vision, strategy, and hands-on execution, shaping revenue growth.
Over time, you'll be able to build and lead a high-impact product marketing team.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand our audience, optimize processes, and execute a compelling product marketing strategy
- Craft resonant positioning and messaging for effective market penetration and adoption
- Own go-to-market activities, ensuring successful product launches and feature releases
- Execute go-to-market plans that meet financial and product adoption targets
Enablement
- Empower our go-to-market team with impactful messaging to drive revenue
- Develop engaging training material and learning sessions for internal and external stakeholders
- Create essential sales tools, including presentations and product image libraries, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Enablement resources
- Serve as a product expert, supporting sales with RFP responses and product demos as needed
Collaboration
- Cultivate strong relationships with Product teams, influencing product roadmaps for alignment with market needs
- Collaborate across go-to-market teams to orchestrate prospect and customer-facing programs, driving product revenue
- Oversee the development of customer marketing programs, testimonials, and case studies for external and internal use
- Competitive Intelligence
- Establish and lead run win / loss and churn analysis programs
- Become an expert in the competitive landscape differentiating the brand through well-crafted battle cards
- Document and update key capabilities and differentiators internally and externally
Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of Marketing experience, including 3+ years in Product Marketing.
- 2+ years in a B2B SaaS Marketing role.
- Experience managing a team is a plus.
- Proven success in developing, launching, and promoting products, driving new and expansion revenue.
- Proficiency in building buyer personas and mapping buyer journeys.
- Excellent communication and written skills with a natural storytelling ability.
- Proven ability to build robust sales enablement tools for go-to-market revenue growth.
