Job Description

Our client in Oakville is seeking a Front Desk Support Agent to join their team on an 11-week contract, with possibility of extension.

As the initial point of contact, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Pay Rate : $18 per hour.

Location : Oakville, ON. Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Provide information and assistance to inquiries from guests and employees.
  • Notify employees of guest arrivals and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and guests, ensuring efficient coordination.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation and sending of outgoing mail and packages.
  • Perform general office tasks, including filing and photocopying.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Assist in keeping office supplies stocked and organized.

Qualifications and skills :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
