Work where conservation happens. Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) is hiring seasonal technicians to support Fisheries, Wildlife, and Land Management programs across Alberta from May to August 2026, with possible extensions.
Responsibilities
Join the Fisheries, Wildlife, or Land Management team and take part in hands‑on conservation work across Alberta’s wild landscapes. Your role may include conducting habitat assessments, inspecting and maintaining conservation and fisheries access sites, and assisting with wildlife monitoring in the field. You will work closely with project leads and supervisors based in offices throughout the province, while following ACA health and safety standards.
This position involves extensive travel throughout Alberta, with accommodations, meals, and vehicles provided. Expect to work in rugged terrain, changing and sometimes challenging weather, and during long or irregular hours. Successful candidates will thrive in camp environments, stay organized in dynamic field conditions, and take pride in collecting accurate, high‑quality field data that supports real conservation outcomes.
