Location : Smithers Hauling Site, Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

Benefits & Pay

Starting pay $43.62 / h, stable hours, annual tool allowance $925, boot allowance $300, uniform and PPE, extensive training, clear career progression, comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, pension).

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7 AM start, stable hours for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Assist senior mechanics with project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
