Accounting Inventory Analyst

Overview

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Inventory Analyst for a 6-month contract (high possibility of conversion to full time) with one of Canada's fastest-growing convenience and retail fuel companies. This role supports the daily and monthly reconciliation of hydrocarbon inventory across retail, cardlock, and commercial locations. The successful candidate will track, report, and analyze purchases, sales, and adjustments to ensure system-calculated inventory aligns with physical counts. This position requires a strong accounting foundation and analytical mindset. The role is on-site 2 days per week with willingness to go in the office 4 days per week.

Location : Calgary, Alberta, Canada (Hybrid : 2 days on-site, 4 days as needed)

Base pay range : CA$25.00 / hr – CA$28.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Support daily and monthly reconciliation of hydrocarbon inventory across retail, cardlock, and commercial locations.
• Track, report, and analyze purchases, sales, and adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies between system calculations and physical counts; identify root causes.
• Collaborate with ERP systems teams and business units to improve inventory processes.
