We are currently seeking a highly motivated self-starter to lead the operation and development of the information technology department. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Technology, who leads the company's IT/OT (Operational Technology) Department.

The responsibilities of the IT Manager are to shape and manage a high-performing team and a robust IT system to serve the 24x7 mining production environment. Implement and maintain a security policy across the organization.

They are looking for a team player capable of executing a strategic vision for modernizing their IT operation. Fully capable of providing hands-on experience & assistance with help desk support, managing Datacenters, establishing & implementing Security policies, and managing IT/OT applications.

The job requires a regular presence in the Head office in Tumbler Ridge, BC, and occasionally visits data centers on the mine sites.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Manager, ideally within the oil + gas/ mining industries
• Bachelor’s degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
• Advance knowledge and experience supporting various operating systems and technologies (Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, SharePoint, SQL Database)
• Advance networking experience with CISCO Switches/Routers and Gateways, Firewall.
• Experience w/ Data Centers
