What You’ll Do
- Design and build advanced applications for iOS and Android using cross-platform tools (Flutter or React Native).
- Build and scale real-time messaging features (chat, case collaboration, file / image / 3D data sharing).
- Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and usability in clinical environments.
Security, Compliance & Data Integrity
Implement HIPAA‑compliant security standards, including data encryption (in transit and at rest), access controls, secure authentication, and audit logging.Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure features meet healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR).Maintain end‑to‑end security for all messaging, file sharing, and case workflows.Backend & Integration Collaboration
Work closely with backend engineers to design and consume secure APIs.Handle database‑driven features (SQL and NoSQL experience required).Integrate with healthcare workflows, imaging systems, and potentially 3D data formats (e.g., Blender, STL files).Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor and resolve app issues, bugs, and crashes using real‑time feedback and logs.Continuously discover and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and product reliability.Partner with QA to automate testing and deliver high‑quality releases.User Experience & Design Integration
Collaborate with UX / UI designers to deliver intuitive, visually appealing mobile interfaces.Incorporate user feedback to improve adoption, engagement, and usability.What We Look For
Experience : 4+ years of mobile development, with at least one published messaging app (real‑time chat, collaboration, or secure communication).Skills : Proficiency in Flutter or React Native; strong knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems.Data & Backend : Experience with SQL + NoSQL databases; API integrations; familiarity with secure file handling.Security / Compliance : Experience implementing HIPAA / PIPEDA / GDPR‑compliant features (or other regulated industries).Nice to Have : Experience handling 3D data (e.g., Blender, dental imaging formats); prior work in digital health or dental technology; knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare standards.Mindset : Problem‑solver with strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.Collaboration : Effective communicator and team player who thrives in agile environments.What’s in It for You
