What You’ll Do
As a Quality Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards and that processes are running smoothly. You will :
Assist with the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of quality control systemsMonitor and assess production processes to maintain quality standards and boost customer satisfactionConduct internal audits, inspections, and contribute to audit readiness for external assessmentsInvestigate non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actionsWork closely with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve issues and strengthen quality outcomesMaintain detailed quality documentation—inspection records, audit reports, corrective actions, and morePrepare and present quality reports to leadershipSupport training initiatives related to quality systems, standards, and best practicesChampion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the plantWork with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications, including participation in supplier audits when requiredWhat You Bring
Technologist / Technician Diploma in EngineeringExperience in a manufacturing environment, automotive manufacturing experience is a strong assetUnderstanding of quality tools, quality systems, design output, metrology, and instrumentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCQE certification or progress toward one is considered an assetWorking Conditions
