Accountabilities

  • Interpret the data from the user interface of the different source systems and master how it translates into the backend database
  • Build strong relationships with Claims, Policy and Finance teams to enable their needs in operational reporting, analytics, BI and predictive modeling
  • Help design and provide requirements for new or improved analytics and reporting
  • Monitor and ensure data quality of the curated data sets using proper reconciliation methods
  • Be heavily involved in testing of newly integrated data sources and / or environments
  • Develop and improve SAS / SQL programs to perform various complex analysis
  • Analyze change requests in the source systems or projects, assess their impact on existing data layers
  • Collaborate with DBAs, other IT teams, Architecture as required
  • Implement internal data process improvement : automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesign / restructure database for more efficiency
  • Develop expertise and aim to become a subject matter expert on the entire data and analytics ecosystem
  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience applying analytical techniques to solve business problems and support data-driven decision making.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate insights in both technical and non-technical terms.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Proactive, curious mindset with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new data models and evolving environments.
  • Hands-on experience with modern analytics ecosystems and methodologies (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, ETL processes, data modeling, and data governance).
  • Proficiency in SAS / SQL programming for data development, cleansing, validation, integrity checks, and process optimization.
  • Skilled in MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and VBA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

    Compensation

    Expected compensation for this role ranges from $64,000.00 - $104,500.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
