ENWIN Utilities operates Windsor’s electricity distribution network and manages water systems for Windsor, Tecumseh and LaSalle. The Rhodes Drive facility includes administrative, operational, and infrastructure-support functions. Security duties involve monitoring access points, protecting critical utility assets, overseeing visitor entry, supporting emergency procedures, and ensuring safe operations in a high-responsibility public-utility environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed
• Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly
• Enthusiastically conduct proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public
• Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
• Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person
• Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client’s staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.
• Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client.

Prerequisites :

Please be aware : The UOF / MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the certifications with a 6-month commitment to the position / availability
