SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR contract to hire position 6months to start then Coverting to FT Perm role

Locations preferences in order of preference :

Montreal highly preferred. If in Montreal, a few times / month onsite may be required

Ottawa ON may be considered, occasional onsite may be required

Elsewhere in Ontario, mostly remote, needs based onsite may be required

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with business resources to directly support and configure Salesforce to meet the organization's business needs.
  • Implement and manage user profiles, roles, and permission sets.
  • Conduct regular data audits, clean-ups, and import / export processes.
  • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain validation rules, formula fields, and custom workflows.
  • Manage Salesforce system settings, including email deliverability, storage limits, and user session settings.
  • Manage Salesforce license allocations.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of Salesforce releases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Salesforce with other applications and systems.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation in line with system configuration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Support testing and de-bugging activities.
  • Design, implement, and maintain user-friendly page layouts to optimize the user experience.
  • Ensure that page layouts align with business processes and capture relevant data for reporting and analysis.
  • Proficient in crafting Custom Flows, Custom Objects, Reports, Analytic Snapshots, and Dashboards.
  • Adept at formulating Profiles, Roles, Page Layouts, Org-Wide Default, Sharing Rules, and Workflows.
  • Ensure the security of sensitive data by implementing and enforcing Salesforce security best practices.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce updates and implement necessary changes to remain compliant.
  • Work closely with business resources to directly support and configure our Salesforce platform.
  • Act in the liaison process between users, business analysts and application development teams.

Must have skills and qualifications

As our ideal candidate

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce CRM System Administrator in a complex, enterprise setting.
  • You have a strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • You have strong understanding of CRM processes and best practices.
  • You have obtained Salesforce Administrator certification; Advanced Administrator is an asset.
  • You have strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • You have knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as SaaS platforms management.
  • You have experience with both Classic and Lightning Experience and Salesforce Lightning components.
  • You are highly motivated with the ability to produce quality work with minimal supervision.
  • You are an excellent team-player, work effectively with others within or outside the organization to accomplish goals.
  • You have an ability to work independently while managing priorities and juggling multiple projects.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • You have, as an asset, familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and / or Mulesoft.
  • You have an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
