For more information on our school and program visit .We are currently looking to hire a 0.6 - 1.0 FTE probationary contract mathematics / science teacher who wants to work in a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive team environment. We embrace the concept of smaller mixed grade classes that respects Indigenous and non-indigenous students as individual learners. Responsibilities : Develop and implement engaging learning opportunities that align with the curriculum and Charter goalsCreate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.Foster students' personal growth, confidence, and self-esteem through culturally relevant teaching practices.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and well-being.Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of Indigenous education.Professional Competencies : Bachelor's degree in Education.Teaching certification in Alberta or ability to attain.Experience or training in teaching mathematics and scienceExperience and or training in working with multigrade classrooms.Experience in Indigenous education and familiarity with Indigenous pedagogies is an asset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Competitive Pay Scale and Benefits : $62,089.00-$105,447.00 per yearEmail applications or direct any questions regarding the position to Superintendent Ron Taylor at The expected start date is October 16, 2025, or other mutually agreed upon start date.The competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
