We do this by addressing the root causes of crime through housing, education, employment programs and support so that individuals have alternatives to breaking the law. The Program
Bedford and Berkana House are community-based residential facilities (CRF) that provides housing, ongoing counselling, support and connections to appropriate community services to men who are on federal conditional release. The CRF's are staffed 24 hours a day.
The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilledOccupational Therapistto join our Community Residential Facilities. This role works closely with the team to support clients transitioning from correctional settings into the community. The successful candidate will apply occupational therapy models to address client needs related to mental health, addictions, physical health, and daily living.
