Position Description
An Ecole Lac des Bois Elementary School - 0.5 FTE (Mon / Tue / every 2nd Wed.) - Gr. 4 FRIMM - Limited Duration Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George). Applicants with assessment and trauma‑informed practice experience are preferred. School District No. 57 resides on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations, McLeod Lake Indian Band, and the Simpcw First Nations. The district serves 41 schools : 32 elementary, 8 secondary, and 1 district learning support centre. It provides educational programs for approximately 15,000 students, including early learning, after‑school art and sports programming, trades programs, and dual credit programs with local post‑secondary institutions. The district supports Lheidli T’enneh, McLeod Lake, and Takla students living on reserve through Local Education Agreements, co‑constructing educational services for students attending schools within the district.
