Microwave Radio Technologist

This opportunity is located in Vancouver, BC.

As a mechanical Microwave Radio Technologist you will :

• Install and align microwave radio equipment, antennas, and associated hardware.
• Configure radios, network elements, and interfaces.
• Ensure proper grounding and weatherproofing of equipment and materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades and repairs to microwave systems.
• Use test equipment to validate system performance.
• Conduct performance checks and preventative maintenance.
• Interpret and update technical drawings, schematics and path studies.
• Compile data and write reports regarding project specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of documentation, logs and system reports.
• Adhering to safety regulations operating procedures and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other trades to ensure support and efficient operation.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits, with working knowledge of MPLS systems.
• Perform DC battery setup and commissioning.
• Install and configure T1 Voice and Data systems.
• Work with Remote Radio and Point-to-Point systems.
