We are a locally owned Edmonton company operating since 2014. We provide expert garage door sales, installation and repair. Encore Overhead Doors offer a specialized service that outranks your experience while providing the beautiful crafty design garage door for residential or commercial property. We are specialize in repairing and installing garage doors at an affordable price. We can even provide innovative garage doors that are durable and eco-friendly.

We are looking to hire Door Installer to join our team at 9418 39 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5T9. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character.

We offer :

Wage : $36.00 per hour
Hours per week : 30-40 hours per week

Employment conditions : Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend

Work location : various locations; Work must be completed at the physical location

Responsibilities and Duties :

Install pre-manufactured door systems and related components in both interior and exterior applications

Perform maintenance, servicing and repair work on installed interior and exterior door units

Review blueprints, work orders, drawings and technical specifications to understand installation requirements

Plan work layouts and determine appropriate installation methods based on site conditions

Take precise measurements and mark reference points to ensure accurate placement and alignment

Prepare door openings and surrounding surfaces for proper installation

Fit, hang and secure doors, frames and hardware to ensure smooth operation and proper function

Adjust doors and hardware to correct alignment, clearance, and performance issues

Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, fasten, and finish materials

Load, unload, and transport doors, tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites

Organize, maintain, and replenish tools, materials, and installation supplies

Ensure installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and applicable building codes

Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation progress and completed work

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area during and after each job

Qualifications and Skills :

Must be able to communicate in English

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience

Weight handling : Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work conditions and physical capabilities : Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Handling heavy loads; Repetitive tasks

Personal suitability : Accurate; Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Organized; Team player
