A UI / UXdesigner is required for public facing system and product designresearch and implementation. This resource will work along sidetechnical and product resources for custom ITbuilds
DescriptionResponsibilitiesCreate effective user friendly and visually appealing interfaces.Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensurea great user experience iterate upon it in accordance withusertesting.
Design user interfaces for various projects such asdigital displays publications media and other creative materials asrequired.
Take a usercentered design approach and rapidly test anditerate the designs. User Experience / Product Design (30%)
- Facilitating user experience design researchthrough a number of methods such as user interviews diary studiesusability testing tracking usability metrics A / B testing cardsorting etc.
- Synthesize research findings intoinsightful and concise user research documents such as user journeymaps personas service blueprints and affinitymaps.
- Design thinking workshops and activitiesto lead project teams in ideating on solutions to complex productand service design related problems.
- Knowledgeabout service design methods to provide highlevel birds eye viewdocumentation of both the frontend user experiences and the backendinfrastructure and service processes that supportthem
- Lead design ideation and deliver designdeliverables tobe service design blueprints informationarchitecture wireframes mockups and interactiveprototypes.
- Deliver functional accessibleusable and aestheticallypleasing userinterfaces.
- Collaborate with Business Productand Development teams by facilitating product and service designvision and concept.
- Practice egofree design : beopen to giving and receiving feedback collaborating with andsupporting other designers
- Utilize pragmaticthoughtful design approaches; think critically about what valuedesign activities are bringing to a project and strategize approachbased on organizational need rather than following textbooksolutions
Communications(10%)
- Strongcommunication skills to prepare documentation including but notlimited to; reports reviews assessments
- Abilityto present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in auser friendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service toboth internal and external clients

- Experience working in an agile sprintbaseddevelopment environment

- Experiencecollaborating and sharing design tasks with multiple designers oncomplex product deliveries
- Ability toconceptualize design tasks as part of greater product developmentteam; understand the impacts design deliverables have on otheraspects of product delivery
Experience (15%)
- Experience with mediumtolarge sized productdevelopment / service designprojects
- Experience dealing with designingservices and products that deal with large organizationalcomplexity
