Provides the reliability and performance ofthe electrical distribution system by inspecting / testing / maintainingelectrical equipment and devices, analyzing / determining the presenceof adverse conditions, documenting / reporting test results, andtaking appropriate corrective actions.
- Instrument transformer tests – CCVT,CT, and SSVT testing.
- Surge Arrester power factor testing.
- Testing capacitor bank or power-factorcorrection systems
- Confirming circuitry via voltage checks,point-to-point, and secondary injection.
- High voltage breaker testing : timing,travel, and functional testing
- Switchgear functionals – print reading,commissioning, and troubleshooting
- ATS Testing – ensuring proper operationfrom normal to emergency power.
- Willing to travel for work throughout NorthAmerica, traveling 50 percent of the time.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications : to qualify forconsideration, you must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements.
Must work safely and adhere to allelectrical safety core principles / procedures.Prefer a bachelor's in ElectricalEngineering OR an Associate’s degree / technologist diploma from anaccredited two-year technical collegeMust have at least 5 or more years ofrelevant experienceMust have general PC skills, includingemail, internet, data entry, and Microsoft ExcelNETA Certification is idealOther Requirements :
