Electronic Assembler-Day Shift

Electronic Assembl er (Temporary to Permanent) About Our Client Our client boasts a network of representatives and warehouses throughout Canada.

Since 1991, they have been manufacturing and distributing fire alarms, security systems, and automated building solutions.

We are currently seeking exceptional, diligent individuals to join the team at their second-largest facility in Canada!

What You Will Be Doing, as an Assembler :

• Putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics.
• Reading work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Mounting assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on printed circuit boards or chassis panel.
• Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires and contact points, using soldering, welding, marettes, or related bonding procedures and equipment
• Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as conformal coating, silk screening, masking, cutting traces, labeling assemblies
• Performs on-line go-not-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices and Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

What You Should Have, as an Assembler :

• Being Bilingual is an asset but English must be your first language for this role.
• Must have experience with automated equipment which includes conveyors, screen printer, pick and place machines, AOI, and reflow oven.
• Must have experience with soldering equipment or equivalent (Selective Solder, soldering Irons).
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ similar experience

In Return, You Will Receive :

• $17.00 per hour
• Paid weekly, every Friday.
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will Be Working is :

• Day shift Monday to Friday
• 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
• ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15-minute breaks (paid)

Where You Will Be Working, as an Assembler :

• Rue Avro & Sources Blvd (Pointe-Claire)
• This location is bus accessible to most.
