• Pay : $43.40 / hour with Ticket
• Hours : Monday to Friday- 5AM-1 : 30PM
• Our priority is to make sure we hire mechanics that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are :
• Perform on-site welding repairs on waste bins (metal and Plastic)
• Repair and replace wheels, locks, lock bars, and other bin components
• Conduct general maintenance and ensure bins meet operational standards
• Use stick welding and torching techniques to cut, shape, and fuse metal parts
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Travel daily between customers sites from Harrison Lake to West Vancouver
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate repairs
• What We Need From You :
• Proven experience in stick welding and metal torching
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and work outdoors in various conditions
• Welding certification is an asset but not required
