Farmers Market Sales and Mushroom Cultivation
SUSTAINABLE FARMING
Join our team at The Kitchen Garden Farm, a small-scale, sustainable mushroom farm. We are looking for a full-time, seasonal Farm Market Sales Associate from May until October, Tuesday to Saturday.
This role is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to engage in sustainable farming practices and connect with the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Marketing : Sell and package gourmet mushrooms for farmers’ market sales.
- Farm Maintenance : Clean grow rooms, cycle grow blocks, and manage composting processes.
- Garden Upkeep : Assist with vegetable garden maintenance.
- Additional Duties : Perform other farm-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Driver’s License : A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Transportation : Reliable transportation is highly preferred.
- Housing : Accommodation may be available.
- Entrepreneurial Opportunity : Potential to start your own market garden.
Compensation
Starting Pay : $18 / hour or higher, depending on qualifications.
