Position : Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Summer Student Start Date : May 4, 2026 Employment Status : Summer Student (up to 16 weeks) Reporting To : GIS Coordinator Union Affiliation : Non-union Posting Date : February 3, 2026 Closing Date February 24, 2026 at 4 : 30 pm Contract Duration : May 4, 2026 – September 4, 2026 Position Summary : Perth County is recruiting for the position of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Summer Student. The GIS Summer Student will primarily consist of assisting in the maintenance and administration of the Corporation's GIS. Students will have the opportunity to work on a number of projects providing a full range of work experience and exposure to many of the varied duties of GIS staff working in a busy Municipal setting.

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm (35 hours per week)
Hourly Rate : $18.73
