About The Position The Sales and Marketing Assistant is directly responsible to the Director of Sales and to the General Manager. This position completes various marketing, sales and administrative customer-related tasks in support of the Sales Team. Principle Responsibilities
- Service customer relationships with email, web and social media content creation and Sales communication support
- Update and maintain product information, client information, website information and Sales programs
- Assist Marketing in providing publications (catalogues, flyers, programs)
- Provide Customer Service and Administrative Support as needed (invoicing, shipping / logistics, reporting)
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the company and all the products and services that it offers.
- Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Director of Sales and General Manager
- Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Represent Staalduinen Floral Ltd. in an effective, ethical and professional manner.
- Preferably 1 year of directly related work experience (preference may be given to those with floral industry experience)
- Experience working with inventory software and order processing systems
- Experience with Photoshop and graphic design programs. (Canva, InDesign)
- Photography / Videography experience would be considered an asset
- Experience working with inventory software and order processing systems
- Intermediate to advanced level of expertise with MS Office Applications
- Office administration or back-office support experienceis an asset
- Must be proficient in the English language and able to communicate fluently verbally and written
- Flexible and adaptable with sound work ethics
- Strong organisation & time management skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- High energy, fast-paced office environment
