Responsibilities

Operate up to 3 specialty machines to produce parts according to blueprints, router package, specifications and / or

special instructions.

• Recognizes and detects machine out-of-tolerance and adjust controls or control media as required.
• Performs basic trial runs to check accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications using gauges, SPC and shop floor system.
• Recognizes and remedies minor machine adjustments and in-process inspections. Major discrepancies are reported to

lead or supervisor.

• Performs work operations under supervision.
• Checks tooling and reworks as needed to keep machine running.
• Lays out parts for successive and continuous machining operations.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, by following blueprints or work instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use shop and measuring tools.
