THE ROLE

The System Integration Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that our IT systems and applications work seamlessly together to support the business operations.

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations to optimize processes and enhance data flow between various applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of business processes.

How You’ll Do It

Integration Design and Implementation :

  • Design and implement system integration solutions to meet business requirements between disparate line of business applications
  • Develop and maintain integration architecture and documentation.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of integration solutions.

Collaboration and Communication :

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and IT teams to understand integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to manage and support integrations.
  • Communicate integration plans and status updates to stakeholders.

Technical Development :

  • Write, test, and maintain code for integrating various applications and platforms.
  • Use APIs, middleware, and other tools to enable data exchange between systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure data integrity and system performance.

Project Management :

  • Lead integration projects from conception through implementation and support.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure integrations meet business needs and identify areas for improvement.

Support and Maintenance :

  • Provide ongoing support for existing integrations.
  • Perform regular system audits and data validations to ensure integration accuracy.
  • Update and enhance integration solutions as business needs evolve.

Documentation and Training :

  • Create and maintain comprehensive integration documentation.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff.

ABOUT YOU

Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system integration, software development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL tools).

Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
  • Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in relevant integration technologies or platforms.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
