Line Dance Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of line dance styles to individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels.
• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participants grasp dance steps effectively.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different crowd sizes and venue setups.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and traditional line dance techniques to enhance instructional content.
• Assist in organizing and promoting line dance events and workshops.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Dance Instructor or similar role.

Extensive knowledge of popular line dances, both classic and contemporary.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals of all ages.

Comfortable teaching in front of various sizes of crowds in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey dance instructions clearly.

Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for sharing the joy of line dancing with others.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

CPR and first aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
