Our established global client is adding a Senior Accountant to support the next phase of their Global Shared Services transformation. This role will be a key contributor to both an Oracle Fusion implementation and multiple shared services transitions globally.
The position is well suited to an experienced full-cycle accountant with Oracle Fusion exposure who is interested in working within a shared services model and participating in global, project-based initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven, with strong visibility across finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Implementation
- Act as functional subject matter expert for accounting and AP processes during the Oracle Fusion rollout
- Support project activities including process mapping (current and future state), documentation, SOP creation, solution design, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization
Shared Services Transitions
Serve as a core member of the Global Shared Services transition teamAct as SME for global transitions across AP, vendor master data, intercompany, GL, reporting, and period closeSupport onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer for Shared Services activitiesLead process documentation and procedural developmentProcess Improvement & Systems Initiatives
Identify and execute process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and service levelsSupport issue triage, root-cause analysis, BA ticket review, testing, and documentation of system enhancementsTechnical & Operational Accounting
Own complex accounting and reconciliation activities (e.g., leases, payroll & benefits, bank and intercompany)Perform and support period-end close, ensuring accuracy and timelinessTroubleshoot Oracle-related issues and coordinate resolutionsAnalyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunitiesProvide training and onboarding support to SSC team membersDevelop and maintain reporting from Oracle, ServiceNow, and other systems as requiredStrong technical accounting foundationHigh level of systems aptitude and interest in leveraging technologyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across regionsClear, concise, and effective communicationProcess-oriented mindset with a focus on standardization and continuous improvementStrong ownership, accountability, and work ethicQualifications
CPA completed or in progress (preferred)5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including 3+ years operating at an SME levelExperience within a shared services environment and supporting transitions2+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion experience (workflows and interfaces)Strong documentation and process-mapping experienceAbility to work effectively across global teams and time zonesSelf-directed with the ability to manage scope independently#J-18808-Ljbffr
