KeyResponsibilities
The Business Analystwill have the followingresponsibilities :
- Reviewingand analysing business intentions services processes andinformation needs to identify and document changes for businesssolutions and enhancements
- Consulting andnegotiating with diverse stakeholders including vendors and drivingoutcomes. Engage with stakeholders to define analyse and documentbusiness and customer intentions services processes and informationneeds to develop a business case to support a solid design andsolution for delivery of theproject.
- Managing deliverablesindependently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond tointernal and external demands.
- Undertake discovery work withstakeholders such as current and future state analysis (customerbusiness and technology) to identify gaps and challenges with thecurrent service delivery.
- Contributeto customer insights reports and journey maps as well as solutiondesign deliverables with the Project Team including analysis ofoptions.
- Contribute to Business Casedevelopment including defining analysing and documenting detailedrequirements.
- Develop strategies forthe continuous monitoring evaluation and improvement of all aspectsof business analysis work using relevantframeworks.
- Manage and developstakeholder relationships through effective communicationnegotiation and risks / issues management to define businessrequirements and trends to enable informed business decisions andservice level improvements
- Lead thearticulation of business requirements and facilitation of businessand system solutions.
- Contribute tothe development of project plans (e.g. implementation plansrequirement gathering specifications change management useracceptance testing training) to facilitate the successfulachievement of business initiatives and strategicgoals.
- Provide plain language adviceon technical issues to nontechnicalaudiences
Skillsand Experience Required
The Business Analyst will have the following abilities skills andexperience.
Mandatory :
- 5years as BusinessAnalyst.
- Businessanalysis skills and experience in detailed analysis andunderstanding of the functional requirements and business processdocumentation including the tracking of functional and processchanges.
- Strong experience incustomer experience and humancentred design thinking particularwith customer profiling and journey mappingwork
- Consulting and negotiating withdiverse stakeholders including vendors and driving outcomes withinacceptable costs and timelines.
The role may require onsiteengagement withstakeholders.
- Distilling businessneeds to identify fit for purposeoptions
- Keeping across changingtechnologies business processes and industry bestpractices.
- Managing deliverablesindependently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond tointernal and externaldemands.
- Extensive experience inusing Atlassian tool set including JIRA Confluence andPortfolio.
- Demonstrated ability towork independently as well as in a team environment and successwith meeting deadlines underpressure
- Demonstrated problemsolving abilities as well as good negotiation skills and businessacumen.
- An understanding of TestingMethodology and processes with working experience in Waterfall andAgile methodology
- Ability to achievesuccessful outcomes through collaborative and cooperativemeans
- Ability to quickly develop anunderstanding of the project its environments and relatedissues.
- Demonstrated ability to workwithin tight projecttimeframes.
