TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a MILLWRIGHT for an opportunity in the Edmonton area in a manufacturing plant environment. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Job Description

Responsible for preventative maintenance, inspecting and repairing mechanical equipment within the plant facility such as pumps, seals, motors, conveyors and various other pieces of industrial equipment.
Assemble, fit, align, and adjust machinery and equipment.
Interprets drawings, plans and determines the best way of making machining repairs to minimize interruption to production.
Working with plant engineers and operational staff to identify technical deficiencies or to resolve problems on plant equipment.

Job Requirements

Journeyperson Millwright Certification (Alberta) or Red Seal Interprovincial Certification.

5+ years of Millwright experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment is an asset.

Previous experience maintaining equipment in a plant environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.

Proficient with precision measuring tools and alignment techniques.

Familiar with maintenance management systems and basic computer applications.

Safety-focused, with a strong understanding of company and regulatory safety standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Positive attitude and able to work in teams.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to pass the pre-employment background checks (criminal record check and drug and alcohol test)
