About The Role

Aggregate plant millwrighting involves the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of stationary industrial machinery.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Promotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example.
• Performs all work activities following relevant safety policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and critical success factors.
• Reads blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators) according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controllers.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
• Tasks require bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in tight areas and in a dusty environment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair.
• Operate machine tools such as drills and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
