Role Description

This is a casual, on-site Senior Companion role located in Lethbridge, AB. The Senior Companion will provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, assist with daily activities, and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. Responsibilities may include accompanying clients to appointments, providing light housekeeping, preparing meals, and engaging in meaningful conversations to enhance their overall well-being. The role may also involve supporting mobility and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Compassion, empathy, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and mobility support
• Dependability, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Previous experience working with seniors or in a caregiving role is an asset
