In this exciting role, you are driving and enhancing our proactive security strategy and investments through working with large cross-functional teams spanning across TELUS, consistently ensuring that plans are interlocked in a rapidly evolving technology and threat landscape.

What you'll do

  • Utilize your advanced communication skills to build, develop and maintain executive-ready and team-member-ready level presentations and materials and lead publication of key security updates across the TELUS organization
  • Partnering internally within CSO and CIO enablement and with finance business partners to co-lead financial and FTE management of our CSO business (tracking performance, identification of risks and mitigation opportunities)
  • Exercise your project management mind-set and execution of effective practices to proactively manage your portfolio of responsibilities thru longer term thinking, sense of urgency and engagement of required stakeholders, and well-thought out workback plans
  • Leverage your business / security expertise to further craft our short-and long-term strategy, working collaboratively across our leaders and stakeholders to develop, refine, enhance, and implement
  • Lead CSO governance (cadence and discussion topics of the CSO team, interlock with key stakeholders and effectively chair / manage priority meetings and share outcomes to keep the leadership team and stakeholders accountable)
  • Gather, compile and explore complex and multi-dimensional data to drive executive discussion and strategic decision-making
  • Using your command of financials and numbers, develop business cases to support new initiatives, building and presenting simplified messages to TELUS executives in both technical and business teams
  • Analyze and report on performance against the multi-year go-to-market plan through a KPI framework, including CSO and team scorecards

Qualifications

What you bring

  • MBA or Master's degree in technical field, OR equivalent experience
  • Significant experience managing enablement functions within TELUS (built up network and how-to knowledge)
  • You are strategic with an eye for what's important and organized and can effectively drive and communicate plans for stakeholder awareness and engagement
  • You thrive in collaborating across different teams, making connections between people and concepts outside of their normal day-to-day activities
  • You enjoy analyzing the future to assess potential outcomes between strategic options and provide recommendations from data analysis
  • You are a compelling communicator, comfortable in conveying strategies to executive audiences both visually and verbally
  • You have a can-do attitude that is infectious and demonstrates grit and resilience in all you do

Great-to-haves

  • Good working experience within Cybersecurity or Network Security
  • Bilingual (English and French)

Salary Range : $94,000-$142,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
