Position Overview - Sales Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the global sales team.
The primary focus of this role is to increase the sales pipeline and accelerate sales productivity by leveraging sales tools, providing actionable insights and analysis, and supporting the administration of HubSpot.
This role collaborates closely with sales leadership and other cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and the continuous improvement of sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Pipeline Management
- Oversee and optimize the sales pipeline by identifying key trends, opportunities, and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the global sales team to ensure a healthy pipeline, providing regular updates and reports to leadership.
- Implement strategies and best practices to enhance lead conversion and opportunity advancement.
- Sales Productivity Optimization
- Leverage sales tools and technologies, such as HubSpot, to streamline processes, improve team productivity, and drive revenue growth.
- Provide training and guidance to sales teams on the effective use of tools and platforms to maximize performance.
- Implement programmatic sales sequences and automation to support efficient sales outreach.
- Sales Tools & HubSpot Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator of HubSpot, ensuring optimal configuration and functionality to support the global sales team.
- Manage HubSpot workflows, custom fields, reporting, and dashboards to provide transparency and actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HubSpot and other sales tools, ensuring seamless operation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive sales strategy and performance improvements.
- Regularly analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs, identifying trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reports for leadership, offering visibility into key metrics such as pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales cycle times.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align on key business objectives and ensure cohesive execution across departments.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to implement process improvements that streamline operations and enhance the overall sales experience.
- Facilitate regular communication between global sales teams to ensure best practices are shared and implemented consistently.
- Sales Support & Operations
- Lead the development and implementation of sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in sales execution.
- Support the global sales team with data requests, sales operations processes, and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuously evaluate and enhance sales workflows to ensure alignment with organizational goals and the changing needs of the sales team.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Sales Operations, or a related field.
Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or business operations, preferably in a global organization.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot administration is required; experience with other CRM or sales enablement platforms (e.
g., Salesforce, Outreach) is a plus.
Skills :
- Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and sales productivity metrics.
- Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and the ability to provide actionable insights based on sales performance metrics.
- Proficiency in sales tools such as HubSpot, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global sales teams.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
