Reporting Relationship

The IT Developer reports directly to the IT Manager, Noranco Canada.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Create complex SQL queries and stored procedures for new SSRS based reports.
• Develop professional SSRS reports to support business needs using Microsoft SQL Server and / or Crystal Reports.
• Create SSIS packages to extract and deliver data to end users.
• Optimize existing SQL queries and SSRS reports.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrator to enforce best practices for SQL environment.
• Create and / or maintain data warehouse.
• Maintain dashboards created by vendors and / or develop new dashboards based on VB and .NET technology.
• Work with management team to gather business requirements and develop solution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex queries, views or stored procedures.
• Convert Access queries and / or Crystal Reports to SSRS reports.
• Able to take on development projects as business requires.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Required Experience

2+ years of SQL, SSIS, SSRS development.

Level of Education

Post‑Secondary Education in IT or related field.
