The Business Enablement and Program team delivers value by managing and deploying strategic initiatives and programs within the TELUS Health Provider group.
We work every day with other departments and business units to increase value for our customers and for the business.
Our programs include PrescribeIT, Quebec Hub and several other Third Party Partner Programs. The Business Enablement team takes care of enabling and coordinating strategic project initiatives, from the conceptual phase through to go-live.
What you’ll do
As a product manager for the Partner Program, you will be responsible for growing the partner portfolio, working closely with the product and sales team in order to establish strategies and tactics.
You will meet amazing companies due to the high demand to be a partner of TELUS, your main goal is to find the ones that will enable TELUS to offer innovative solutions to our customers, bringing value and revenue to the business unit.
You need to be a self-starter who enjoys problem solving, taking ownership of your work, and have strong communication and analysis skills.
More specifically, you will :
- Develop and implement effective and realistic strategies and tactics for the Partner Program related to integration, interoperability, positioning, pricing, and promotion
- Analyze and anticipate market, customer, regulatory, and technology trends; collaborate across the stakeholder groups to adapt the Partner program approach accordingly
- Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for new partnership intake and evaluation for team members across departments and other business units
- Identify the partnership opportunities based on current business unit strategy
- Manage the Partner Journey from intake to contracting : following an established process, you will be in charge of
- evaluating the partners based on specific criteria,
- collaborating with cross-functional teams for specific assessment
- creating business cases
- leading the security and privacy pre-contractual requirements with the partners, and
- leading all the steps to a final decision.
- Present recommendations to leadership team and steering committees
- Maintain a roadmap taking onboarding and technological constraints into consideration
- Negotiate and prepare contractual agreement with partners
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of product performance in relation to sales and marketing objectives, financial and operational performance, and the competitive environment
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports (financial and other), to track and forecast Program KPIs
Qualifications

- The ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and to consult and communicate with various levels of management
- Applied knowledge of product management and opportunity assessment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Organizational and time management skills are a must
- The ability to organize shifting priorities across projects and tasks, manage time effectively, and work with modest supervision
- Comfortable working with Google suite (drive, slides, charts, forms etc.) and MS Office
- University degree
- 3-5 years of product management experience
Great to have :
- Medical / Electronic medical record market understanding
- Interoperability technology savvy
- Knowledgeable of Salesforce (SFDC) and SAP
- Bilingual English and French - spoken and written
