Responsibilities
Supervise daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with established SOPs and provincial / federal regulations (e.g., NAPRA)Provide exemplary customer service to clientsResolve daily pharmacy operational issuesTrain, assess, mentor, and lead the teamPerformance‑management of direct reports (hiring, one‑on‑one meetings, goal setting, evaluations)Manage payroll and scheduling of all direct reportsAssist with development & review of SOPs and work instructionsIdentify and lead continuous‑improvement projects to maximize operational efficiency and quality of serviceAttend and participate in staff meetingsMaintain inventory of shipping materials (reconditioning and rotation of reusable coolers, ice packs, data loggers)Coordinate pharmacy inventory maintenance, including ordering, receiving, putaway, expiry checks, and stock rotationSchedule and perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stock reconciliations across local Sentrex pharmaciesCoordinate shipping and receiving activity between local Sentrex pharmacies as applicableEnsure accurate scanning and filing of pharmacy paperwork (delivery paperwork, prescription records)Ensure safe and appropriate storage of medicationsArrange courier shipments as requiredDeliver / pick up orders as requiredPrepare reports as requiredSupport and participate in new pharmacy technology implementations and upgradesWhen Transportation Manager is absent, provide direction to drivers and coordinate delivery scheduleMonitor fridge temperatures, troubleshoot and report variances directly to pharmacy managementAct as one of the primary contacts for security and temperature alarmsAssist with other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager within scope of practiceQualifications
High‑school diplomaPrevious experience working in a pharmacy setting (asset)Previous experience leading a team (asset)Experience with Kroll and MS Office (asset)Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (ability to communicate in other languages is an asset)Highly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to self‑manage time, set daily priorities and multi‑task to meet competing deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills; can work independently and within a teamPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbTroubleshooting and decision‑making skillsStrong planning and execution skillsWhat makes you a great fit
