Responsibilities:

• Conduct post-construction facility assessments including building condition assessments, warranty reviews, and depreciation reports

• Prepares proposals and establish project financial budgets

• Attends meetings and document discussions

• Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items

• Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)

• Manages and coordinates small and large projects

• Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects

• Client management

• Mentors junior staff

• Participates in continuing education

• Performs various office related tasks

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems

• Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects

• Project management experience

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Strong customer service commitment

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Professional attitude

• Commitment to succeed

• Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
