Job Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, BI, and customer support, to drive project success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :
- Project Planning : Develop and execute project plans, including defining objectives, deliverables, timelines. Ensure alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Stakeholder Management : Identify project stakeholders, establish clear communication channels, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
- Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project, taking proactive measures to prevent or minimize their impact.
- Project Execution : Lead project execution, coordinating activities across different teams and ensuring adherence to project plans.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and manage changes to scope or requirements.
Documentation and Reporting : Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks.
- Ensure all documentation is stored in project folders, easily accessible to all team members.
- Customer Engagement : Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Provide guidance and support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in project management practices.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Quality Assurance : Reviewing deliverables for quality before passing it to the stakeholders
- Multi-tasking : Ability to manage multiple projects at a time without compromising the project's timeline / scope / deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 4-5 years experience as a client-facing project manager with lead or manager responsibilities is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the payments industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, including card payments, mobile payments, and online payment gateways.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and facilitate teams to achieve quality solutions
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to facilitate workgroups
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite, highly proficient in Asana & JIRA
- PMP Certification desired but not compulsory
Education
University diploma or equivalent experience in computer science (ideally software development)
