Reporting to the Vice President, Supply Chain, the Senior Buyer-Planner, Packaging will be responsible for all packaging purchases, including recommendations, solutions and financial performance.

Responsibilities
Develop Procurement Strategies – Oversee financial allocations and identify the best suppliers to meet industry standards.Analyze Prices and Quality – Evaluate products, supervise assessments, and make recommendations.Negotiate Contracts – Conduct contract negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers to secure favorable agreements.Ensure Quality Control – Establish quality standards, manage claims, and oversee quality control processes.Manage Supplier Relationships – Meet with suppliers to review products, negotiate contracts, and build a comprehensive supplier database.Oversee Budget and Inventory – Plan budgets, control expenses, and manage inventory operations.Optimize Costs and Processes – Propose strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Monitor Performance and Reporting – Define and track performance indicators, lead annual supplier evaluations, and generate reports.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in operations management, administration or equivalent.Minimum 10 years experience in supply management in a manufacturing environment.Recognized expertise in the packaging sector.Experience in the food industry.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Bilingualism essential (French / English).Proficiency in an ERP systems, ideally SAP.Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
