Profile : Our client is a manufacturer of industrial products and looking for a bilingual General Manager to run Canada from the Montreal office.
You will manage a team made up of Sales Managers, marketing, customer service and accounting. Your experience in selling to industrial distributors and promoting to end users is valuable.
You have experience leading a team and managing a P&L and producing profitable sales. Please submit your resume in English.

Salary : Base $150,000-$180,000
Commissions / Bonus : 25% on base at 100% of plan + profit sharing
Car allowance : $750 / month
Expense’s reimbursement : All travel and reasonable expenses reimbursed

- Serve as a key member of our management team
- Provide regular feedback to your direct reports
- Participate in expanding our growth
- Work hand in hand with other key people across the organization, internationally
Requirements :
Development vs Maintenance : 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office : 50% vs 50%
Languages : French and English
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred
Training : On the job training provided
Overnight Travel : Up to 30% in Canada, US and internationally
Years of experience : 15+ years of experience leading successful organizations with at least 5 years at the executive level
Other requirements : Strong business acumen and the ability to manage a P&L
Transferable contacts : Contacts within industrial distributors
Transferable Knowledge :
- Strong leadership skills, not a micro manager but rather someone who empowers and trusts
- Strong financial management
- Demonstrated abilities controlling expenses
