Job Overview
We are hiring up to one full‑time, permanent Systems Analyst – Web position working out of Edmonton, AB. As the Web Systems Analyst, you will provide technology support to the Application Services department and EPCOR as a whole, maintaining, operating and enhancing EPCOR’s custom web applications to deliver usability‑focused solutions that delight our customers.

Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of optimal results against operational performance metrics, including :
- Incident Delivery and Responsiveness
- Delivery on Change Request estimations
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- System Availability
- Process Improvements
- Monitor application performance and track performance trends, including hardware and OS resources.
- Ensure system reliability and availability through proactive monitoring, maintenance and change management.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, employing open communication and problem‑solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively within expected timeframes.
- Abide by all departmental policies and processes for consistent support and administrative practices.
- Schedule and perform deployments on production systems.
- Provide on‑call support for all web applications.
Qualifications Required
Completion of a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a diploma in Computer Engineering, Systems Technology or Management Information Systems from a recognised post‑secondary institute.4–6 years of related experience in Web Operations and / or Development (candidates with less experience may be considered for a developmental position).Broad understanding of IT concepts.Experience with Agile / SCRUM and at least one common programming language.Experience with web technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap and JavaScript.Experience working with both technical and non‑technical end users.Experience supporting large public‑facing websites or intranets is an asset.Familiarity with basic networking concepts like load balancers, firewalls and domains.Demonstrated ability to design, develop and unit‑test web solutions.Ability to comfortably move between tech stacks.Proven track record of diagnosing, researching, recommending and implementing solutions to production problems.Desired Candidate Profile

Jurisdiction : CSU52Class : IT2; developmental IT1Wage : Starting at $56.15 per hour; developmental (IT1) starting at $51.42 per hour. Final wage and step will be determined at the time of selection and are based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement.Hours of work : 75 hours biweekly.Eligibility Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age, have successfully completed a post‑secondary education program (or equivalent), and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
