Job Skills / Requirements

• Location : Olds Hub (Primary Area)
• Position Type : Full-Time On-Call (PW Only)
• Wage : $19 / hr (with $10 / hr on-call base rate)
• Schedule : 7 On / 7 Off — alternating days and nights each rotation

About the Role

Patient Watch Officers provide supportive, continuous observation for patients who require extra monitoring to ensure their safety and well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who are calm, attentive, professional, and comfortable working within a healthcare environment. You will work closely with hospital staff and contribute to a safe, respectful, and patient-centered atmosphere.

Primary Deployment : Olds Hub

This posting is specifically for the Olds Hub, which primarily covers :

Your priority will be to work within the Olds Hub, and we will make every effort to keep you deployed in this area. However, depending on operational needs, you may be temporarily deployed to other locations across the Central Zone. Flexibility is a key part of this role.

Central Zone Coverage

While hub assignments guide where you will work most often, PW Officers can be scheduled anywhere in the Central Zone if required.

Preferred Recruitment Area

Candidates should ideally live between Olds and Ponoka, including surrounding communities. Wetaskiwin is also acceptable. If you’re unsure about whether your location fits the preferred range, we can confirm with management.
