Your Role
As an NSWOCC Wound Care Nurse at TCC, you will :
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments
- Develop and implement advanced, evidence-based care plans
- Provide expert wound management in home and community settings
- Educate and mentor nursing teams
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives
Requirements
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).Wound, Ostomy and Continence Education Program (WOC-EP) from NSWOCCStrong clinical and documentation skillsA valid Ontario driver’s license (G License) and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.Current CPR and First Aid certification , completed through a recognized training provider within the past 12 months.Valid WHMIS 2015 certification , issued or renewed within the past 12 months.Negative TB test (2-step or 1-step with prior documentation), completed within the past 12 months.Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination , or exemption in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code.Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening , issued within the past 12 months.Must be able to communicate effectively in English , both orally and in writing, for documentation and communication with clients and care teams.If you’re ready to grow your career with a respected and expanding healthcare organization serving Toronto and the GTA , we want to hear from you.
