Bluewater currently owns and operates a number of Floating Production Storage and Offloading Systems (FPSOs) : the Glas Dowr, the Aoka Mizu, the Bleo Holm, the Hæwene Brim and Munin.

About the job

As a Senior Piping Engineer you are responsible for the delivery of the piping engineering work scope in line with the projects technical specification, budget and planning.

You may work as part of a team or assigned as a lead of a team yourself. You will report to the Lead / Project Engineer on progress, setbacks and concerns, and you report to the Section Head on personal achievements and section matters.

Requirements

Within Bluewater, you can expect to perform several different tasks :

• Creatingpiping material specifications, valve and fittings specifications for FPSOs and SPM systems
• Procurement related activities like contact with vendors, TBEs and review of vendor data
• Prepare Material Take-offs and Valve and Special Item lists
• Participate in HAZIDs and 3D model review
• Participating in or leading a team of several engineers and designers and supervise subcontractors
• Creating CTRs, Scope of Works, provide input to the Project Planner and change management
• Obtain client and third party approval on the project and assist the yard site team
