POSITION SUMMARY : This position is responsible for handling all aspects of import shipments from pre-arrival to billing.Dealing directly with clients and operational staff in a friendly considerate manner. Lumber experience is a plus.

QUALIFICATION SECTION : The ideal candidate will be well qualified in the following areas :

High School diploma or equivalent

One to two years of brokerage / office experience

Accurate data entry skills

Excellent Communication skills

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Release and classify basic import shipments-May be assigned additional tasks-May be assigned or cross-trained in duties similar to current duties-Stays up to date on Customs and procedure changes-Actively pursue new sales leads and discuss and sell our various services with current clients, sending information timely to manager or other designated person
